National Quantum Lab (Q-Lab)
UMD and IONQ partnered to create the Q-Lab, the nation's first quantum computing user facility. It provides a collaborative space for leaders in science, engineering, and computing to develop novel quantum applications and enable training in the use of IonQ's commercial-ready quantum hardware.

Quantum Startup Foundry (QSF)
The Quantum Startup Foundry functions as a business incubator to support nascent firms in the quantum technology field. It brings together physical and virtual resources, including equipment, tools and facilities, to support entrepreneurs and startups in accelerating quantum technologies' time to market. It also connects entrepreneurs with industry and government customers, investors, technical mentors, leading-edge research and IP to grow their enterprise.

Q-Cat’s mission is to identify the most promising ideas in quantum technology and create companies that can translate that technology into solutions for society. Q-Cat lowers the barriers to entry for the commercialization of innovative quantum technology.
